About

Hi, I’m Shayla — and I’m glad you’re here.

At my core, I’m a creative, and fashion is one of the ways I express that. I’m focused on refining my personal style—dressing in a way that feels confident, comfortable, and true to who I am. In 2026, I’m intentionally rebuilding my wardrobe with pieces that feel thoughtful and lasting, choosing intention over trends and ease over excess.

I also love creating beautiful spaces, primarily in my own home. I’m drawn to calm, thoughtful environments where friends and family are always welcome and comfort matters just as much as aesthetics. Our home is a place I’ve intentionally shaped to reflect who I am, how I’m growing, and the life I want to live—one that values connection, ease, and presence over perfection.

I’m a recovering perfectionist, learning that growth doesn’t require constant striving. These days, I’m more interested in alignment than approval, progress over polish, and building a life that feels good from the inside out.

Personally, I’m a proud mom and step-mom to three thriving teenagers, and married to an incredible partner and father to our children. Motherhood has shaped me in ways nothing else ever could—it’s where I learned patience, perspective, and that perfection was never the goal. While being a parent and partner will always be a meaningful part of who I am, this space is intentionally focused on my own growth and evolution.

By profession, I’m a real estate agent, landlord, and investor. I’ve built a career I’m proud of—one rooted in hard work, strategy, and showing up for people when it matters most. But I’ve also learned that I’m more than my occupation, and this space exists because of that realization.

Speaking is a side passion of mine—one I return to a few times each year. I’ve had the opportunity to open events, sit on panels, and deliver keynotes, and what I value most is the connection that comes from honest conversation. I share my experiences openly and vulnerably, using real life as the foundation for meaningful dialogue and practical wisdom across a variety of topics. For me, speaking isn’t about the stage—it’s about creating moments where people feel understood, encouraged, and less alone.

Simply, Shayla is a creative outlet, a soft place to land, and a reflection of who I am becoming—not just what I do.
